PUTTING TOGETHER A PLATFORM
The intent was to assemble a platform with wheels to help me move furniture. It’s a plastic black rectangle with a hole cut for a person to hold onto. More useful as a hole to slip over a bracket for storage.
There’s a dolly for moving things. It’s great for bringing in boxes of dog food but it does not work with my desk which I want to move. Me by myself moving furniture that probably should stay where it is.
I am amused with the strangest things. Why would a woman who needs help moving things want to bend over or get on her knees to pull a desk somewhere? Little nuts and smaller bolts and old hands are not good playmates. There are a couple extra nuts and bolts supplied to replace those dropped, that find their way under a sofa that can’t be moved even by a 160-pound Great Dane jumping on it.
The instructions tell me how many pieces of each part are included. I count them to make sure. I can’t find any large plugs that fit into larger holes. I can’t even find any larger holes for larger plugs to fit into. I sit comparing 16 plugs to see if any are larger than the others. They aren’t. The instructions don’t tell me the size of the nuts or bolts. Do they assume anyone putting this together will have the strength to tighten it by hand? Or is it supposed to sound like a child's rattle?
I hope you are laughing. Tomorrow, I will tell you the rest of the story.

Oh Linda … I don’t know whether to laugh or cry, or both! Please just be careful and don’t hurt yourself. I love you.
