I Love You

This is the 2^nd verse of the poem “Now It Is Time” by James Lewisohn

“Now it is a time to feed the young birds

Now it is a time to build a last house

Now it is a time to put food into the earth

giving back the seed its promise.

This is a time to be wise and perfect

This is a time to clarify the light

This is a time to speak softly to one another

as though each word was spoken

for the first time

It is a time for letting go and

for being near      again and again.”
