I Love You
Do you remember landlines? I had one until a couple months ago. The Facebook outage yesterday reminded me of holidays when there were no open circuits, and we were instructed to try our call later.
Now, we want everything immediately. We don’t want to wait seconds while a page loads. We have learned to be impatient. This access to information and people is astounding, but what is it doing to your peace?

So true, your quote. I remember having to pick up the phone and rattle the hook to get a line. We had a party line when I was a kid. But we weren't tied to the phone as we are now. We didn't need to always be in contact! It was much more peaceful.
