There are days . . .

That begin

in wonder

in beauty

in solitude

the soul satisfied

the body hungry

By late morning

a headache

a feeling of unease

the celestial choir

rings louder

a fanfare

introducing

dizziness

By evening

tired

no hunger

nothing

accomplished

rest

not just required

but demanded

“go to bed”

We have days when

we don’t accomplish

our plans

we don't meet

our own demands

Staying in motion

is not the answer

Some days

the least

is all we can do

Take care of yourself

Be important to “you”
