“One day the mist is going to clear
and you will re-emerge from that fog
different
as though you left a part of you in it
because you did my friend
you did.”
Ashworth, Donna. Loss: Poems to better weather the many waves of grief. Black & White Publishing. Kindle Edition.
I Love You
ART: "In Fog" 2017
There is No Night Without a Dawning
No winter without a spring
And beyond the dark horizon
Our hearts will once more sing ….
For those who leave us for a while
Have only gone away
Out of a restless, care worn world
Into a brighter day

I love this Linda. All of the poems and prayers that you have shared with me since my mother in law’s passing have been such a help getting me through this difficult time. The reminder that she is only gone for a while is comforting. And I can check the “I am human” box with much more confidence today 😂. I love you!
